Coal base steam activated carbon in 3mm pellet size. Approved by 0ndsk4, creator of the Nevermore project.

• Customizable Use: Can be mixed with Notus to extend filtration capability in warm chambers
• Shipped in a resealable vacuum bag to extend shelf life and allow partial use.
Perfect for enclosed 3D printing setups, especially when working with mild filament like PLA, PETG, TPU, or other low-emission materials and low chamber temperatures. The warmer your chamber gets, the less efficient activated carbon becomes - that problem can be counteracted using Notus to achieve good filtration performance across a wide temperature range. Why steam activated carbon is very important for 3d printing ? The other form of carbon activation is acid activation and the carbon will leach some acid while it's being used afterwards. That acid will rust your metal part in your printer in a matters of hours ruining your printer. This carbon is STEAM activated.
